The Thai cabinet approved a budget of ten billion baht to fund the expansion in development of Phuket’s tourism infrastructure. In the planning stages now are a new exhibition center, new roads, and expansion of the existing airport. With these new projects will come more hotels, adding to the already infinite variety of choices available. People from all over the world come to enjoy the beach lifestyle on Phuket Island.
